Ainsley Robinson finished 18th in Greco-Roman Wrestling as a member of Team Canada at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. In 1997 at the age of 25 Robinson was charged with six counts of conspiracy to traffic crack cocaine, conspiracy to import hashish and possession of an unregistered handgun. Charges were reportedly dropped .

At 40 years old Robinson made his Bellator Debut after compiling a 5-1 record at Bellator 76 against Striker Chad Laprise. He showed he had a great chin by taking numerous shots throughout the 15 minute match. Robinson struggled with his cardio during the bout and at one point held himself up with the cage with both hands. He was unable to utilize his wrestling takedowns with success and ultimately lost via unanimous decision.
